Two more finished....

I finished the last piece on the RS3 triangle that I started a couple of days ago.
I’m more than happy with how this triangle has turned out.   I also managed to whip up this block as well.
Quite nice to have an easy block to make for a change.

Today was also an historic day for Australia with the appointment of our first female Prime Minister - Julia Gillard.

  1. Great job on that triangle! I know I couldn't do that...Wow

  2. The triangle looks great! I have my pattern, but I'm still studying how I want to cut it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll really start sewing. I love how yours turned out!

  3. Pip - that triangle turned out AMAZING! I love it! Good for you to fit in a 2nd block this week as well.

    Hooray for Julia too!

  4. This is going to be one very special quilt Pip. How many more blocks do you have to do? Love the top one, so pretty. It must have been extremely hard to sew all those curved pieces.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

  5. I'm sitting here thinking "oh, my" once more. Such beautiful work, such clever use of the patterns on the fabric.

  6. Fantastic work, Pip! I hope you'll share some triangle tips for those of us who *might* try one someday.
    Happy Quilting,
