We had a Kohlrabi salad as part of our lunch today, just peeled and grated mixed with a grated carrot, some finely sliced spring onions and tossed with a dressing made from lime juice, a dash of sesame oil, some olive oil, mustard, a teeny bit of sugar, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.

My inspiration for the Kohlrabi salad was found here where there are a couple more recipes as well.

  1. That is a beautiful Kohlrabi! ...and that salad sounds wonderful....thanks for the recipe idea!

  2. I have never tasted kohlrabi. Must do so.
    Love your white cockatoo.
And I love the dishcloths. Knitted dishcloths seem to be all the go lately. Though yours seem a bit pretty to use for such a thing.
