Three rows left

to make on the Grandmother's Choice quilt.  I had to do a bit of reverse stitching on the sashings as they weren't lined up correctly.  Looking at some of the blocks I can see that some of my fabric choices could have been better (the two blocks on the bottom row RHS) but I'm not going to make the blocks again.

I have 18 blocks to make, I was thinking that they might be finished by years end but I think that is wishful thinking.

  2. Another round of perfection Pip...gorgeous...and those two "less special" blocks will look different when the corner stones get added.

  6. I like it when blocks look different when viewed closer up versus from a distance. I like surprises when I'm using a quilt on the bed, when I find a pattern or color combination that I hadn't noticed earler.
