More Grandmother's Choice blocks

My Blogsy post wasn't too successful, I shall persevere with it and give it another go soon.  Today was very hot 43C/107F which meant it was a good day for staying indoors and sewing blocks.

  1. Oh that is hot, unbearably so and it has been on the TV here in NZ , and the bushfires as well..it was a good idea to sit inside and stitch..our top temperature climbed to a 'mighty' 18 degrees today..I'm off to see Mum in Sydney next week so hope it is a bit cooler there!

  3. Wonderful blocks for GC! That is too hot and here on the other side we had a 'frozen solid' week of sub zero temps. Both good reasons to stay in and quilt :0)

  4. Lucky you to be able to stay inside all day. I had 4 energetic little swimmers and had to play lifeguard for 2 x 1 1/2 hour long sessions. Fortunately i was in shade. In between we baked a great pile of "ninja bread "men. You will have GMC finished in no time its looking good
