Stitching with friends

Yesterday was a Sit and Sew day with some members from the SA Quilters' Guild.  I had a fairly productive day managing to finish off one Flower Garden block and starting another, I also finished the fifth Grandmother's Choice block, so I'm all caught up.

In between all the stitching was quite a bit of talking with the other stitchers, (it's such a shame talking doesn't count as exercise) and we also shared a lovely lunch (frittata, sandwiches, cheese boards, fruit, broccoli and feta fritters, cheesecake were just some of the selection).  There won't be another Sit and Sew this year but I'm hoping that there will be more next year as I had a wonderful day and met some lovely people.

  2. HI Pip !

We love your Farmer's Choice quilt ! Wow, that it stunning. Your patchwork is outstanding, and the colors all go together so well. You chose lovely fabric, and the red, white, yellow, and blue is most cheerful. We know that your Grandmother's Choice project will be just as fabulous. Looking forward to reading your updates !

    Best wishes always,
