Working hard on the farm

The last few days I've been working hard on my Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt and I've been making good progress as you can see from the photo below, over a dozen blocks there.


My rough chart is showing more blocks coloured in than blank now, providing me with the incentive to keep on stitching, so excuse me if my blog posts are a bit sparse over the next couple of weeks because I will be pedal to the metal, sewing blocks.

  1. that's a healthy harvest Pip. Very rewarding to see a nice little pile emerge from your labor. Keep up that pace and you will be finished in no time. It would only be 2 1/2 more piles like that, about 32 blocks by my reckoning.

  4. It is easy to see by looking at your chart that the bulk of the work is behind you. Hopefully the rest will be smooth sailing. It is going to be a fabulous looking quilt, best of luck with the last few blocks.
