Nearly caught up …

with the Civil War Quilts BOW, I’ve been working away on the Seven Sisters block which I will finish this week (now I am accountable) plus the usual weekly block which I had a quick look at and it looks to be a fairly simple block, so shouldn’t take too long to make.

  1. Pip, these blocks are great, and I'm really not a civil war type of gal. I want to make one of these quilts for my sister-in-law, though, but don't know where to begin, how to pick fabric, what kind of pattern. (I don't believe my stash has anything of the sort). I was hoping for a bit of guidance? I've googled it, but just get overwhelmed! Any light you can shed on the subject for me would be much appreciated! Your blocks are lovely!

  3. Beautiful blocks. I have so much Civil War reproduction fabric, and what better use than a sesquicentennial memorial.
