Expanding my horizons

These are some books that I have borrowed from the library to read over Christmas. When I get some time I would like to experiment with some different techniques and see what I can come up with.

I’m quite useless at drawing but I have taken quite a lot of photos and I’m sure I will be able to use them in some way, whether as inspiration or printing them onto fabric and then incorporating them into something, nothing too ambitious mind, maybe a series of A4 size quiltlets.

  1. I look forward to seeing what you do, but I don't have the talent to paint anything but a wall!

  2. Have fun with this Pip as art is your interpretation of something. Take your cue from Pro Hart as he throws paint on his canvases and they sell so other people must like them too :D.

  3. Painting on fabric is something I plan to delve into more in the future. I paint on slate, and have painted on canvas a few times, but would love to paint on silk and cotton when I have more time. It is definitely on my "to do list"!
